Businesses are constantly looking for ways to improve outcomes. ITIL and agile methodologies have emerged as a successful framework to improve business productivity and deliver value.     Agile

    An agile approach needs a change from the traditional process in software development. It focuses on iterative product development, adaptability to change, and effective collaboration. Agile teams work in sprints and deliver the customer’s value in increments. The methodology also fosters innovation in the organisation.

    The ITIL framework offers a standard approach to handling incident management.  Using Agile in ITIL incident management will enhance speed and adaptability. Agile practices improve the responsiveness and flexibility in handling incidents. They can be used to prioritise incidents while still sticking to the incident management process.

    Change Management

    Agile methods can be implemented in the ITIL change management process to evaluate and approve changes. Low-risk changes can be easily approved through agile sprints. IT professionals can implement them quickly in a controlled environment.

    Service design

    ITIL service design will also benefit from an agile, iterative approach. It helps teams use sprints to develop and service components incrementally, rather than developing complex services upfront. This approach enables faster delivery and adoption of user feedback.
